A Fournier RF3 found derelict in long grass, tarped over and stripped of its engine — documented here at the very start of a project.

The photographs available so far show G-AYJD down in long, dry grass at the edge of an airfield, wrapped in blue and green tarpaulins that have themselves seen better days. The engine has already been removed — the firewall shows an open mounting hole and disconnected wiring — and other gliders can be seen parked on the airfield in the background.
Later photographs show real progress: new plywood skin panels fitted to the fuselage and a rebuilt cockpit surround, worked on in a home garage. The original lettering on the fuselage gives the aircraft\u2019s name \u2014 \u201cWee Reekit.\u201d
The wing and a fuselage section on a trailer, photographed at an airfield and outside a barn marked \u201cAerial Dept.\u201d \u2014 presumably a stop in moving the airframe between locations during the rebuild.
